The TP 1049 is a 50 pair Front Tap Shoe designed for use with the NEC.

The TP 1049 consists of the following components:
- Gold-plated contact pins.
- A 15 foot, 50 pair 28 AWG gauge stranded (7/38)tinned wire cable.
- One end equipped with male amp connectors for connection to the shoe, opposite end is equipped with Female Cinch Jones or Amp connectors depending on customer's needs.
